Come and build LEGO® sets!

There will be sessions starting from 10:00am each day with 30-minutes between each session. The exact times are below and can be seen in the calendar as soon as you click the “Book a session” button:

Holiday Sessions

• 10:00am – 11:30am
• 12:00pm – 1:30pm
• 2:00pm – 3:30pm
• 4:00pm – 5:30pm

Yes! Each additional 30 minutes you stay will be charged at a rate of $4.00 which is a 20% discount from the normal rate.

When the booking calendar opens up, you can select multiple dates/times all in one order. Each date you select will be highlighted in gray in the booking calendar.

The first sibling is charged at the normal rate of $15 and each additional sibling is charged $12.75. If you stay longer than 90 minutes, you will be charged $4.00 per additional 30 minutes which is also a 20% discount. If you book 5 or more sessions in one order, you will be given 10% off the entire order. The discounts are applied automatically in the cart.

I am only allowing a max of 6 children per session. In order for a session to be confirmed, there will need to be at least 3 participants. In the event there are not enough participants, I will contact you the day before and process a refund or try to move you to another date with enough participants.

Since the brick play room is not a large space, I want to control the number of children/parents who are in the room. For this reason, I am only accepting formal bookings. If there is an open space, you can book a session even 30 minutes before the session time.

If your child is 6 years or older, you can drop them off for the session. However, this requires you to sign a parental consent & waiver form which will be sent in your confirmation email. If you would like to stay with your child, no consent/waiver form is required.

Your child(ren) should eat before attending any of the sessions. In order to keep the lego bricks and room as clean as possible, I do not allow eating or drinking in the room (of course water would be the exception).

The sessions will be run by the founder of Brick PlayStudio, Jeong Yi. He is a proud father of three beautiful children (3, 6, 9) and loves lego. He came up with the play room concept during the pandemic when his oldest son got really into legos at a similar play room in Korea.

There are over 300 sets to build from a variety of popular LEGO® themes. There are beginner set with fewer than 100 pieces which can be built in 5-10 minutes and advanced sets with over 1000 pieces which require hours and hours of building.

The room is setup with wooden desks and movable brick organisers to sort pieces by color to build faster. All sets are labelled with an alphanumeric color code with laminated instructions to prevent damage.

The brick play room is located in Hobsonville near Kotuku Park. Once you place an order, you will be given a link with the exact location of the play room. I am not publicly putting the address up because I only plan to have sessions during the holidays at specific times and do not want to have people showing up at random times to play.

This will depend on the feedback I receive. If there is a higher than expected demand with many families who want to attend in the future, I may open up more sessions. There’s also a chance I will open up a pop-up play room by partnering with a local business somewhere.
