This website is operated by Brick PlayStudio. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Brick PlayStudio and the terms “you” refers to any user of Brick PlayStudio’s services and website. We offer this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our website and/or renting a LEGO® set from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein. These Terms of Service apply  to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content. LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies which does not sponsor, authorise or endorse this site, and has no connection whatsoever with Brick PlayStudio.

Changes to the Service and Prices

The content of the pages of our website and prices for our rental sets are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service. We reserve the right to refuse the service to anyone at any time and for any reason at our sole discretion. and are not obliged to explain the reason for refusing the service.

Code of Conduct

As a user of this site, you agree to:

  • not allow children under 3 years old to play with any of the LEGO® sets
  • treat the LEGO® sets with care and respect as if they were your own sets
  • return the sets in a clean, sanitary, and undamaged condition with no pieces missing
  • understand that I may be charged for missing or damaged pieces or the replacement cost of sets
  • completely disassemble the sets into individual LEGO® pieces and repackage them in the original packing materials they came in
  • notify Brick PlayStudio of any damaged or missing pieces that were lost during the rental period as soon as possible via email.


Children aged 3 years and under must not be allowed to play with any of the rented LEGO® sets since the small parts could potentially be a choking hazard.

Areas of Service

At the moment, we are only renting LEGO® sets to those residing in the Auckland area. We do not have any shipping options or service for those outside of the Auckland region.

Rental Period

Each rental lasts for 10 days which goes into effect from the day you receive the LEGO® set. If the sets are not returned in a timely manner, you will be charged a prorated fee based on the original rental price. Rentals can be extended by notifying Brick PlayStudio via email in advance. The price of the extension will be the same as the original rental price.

Lost & Damaged Pieces

Brick PlayStudio allows a loss or damage of up to 3 common LEGO® pieces per set. If you lose or damage more than 3 common pieces, you will be charged for the cost of replacing those parts. Missing figurines, hard to replace pieces, or pieces with a higher than average price (more than $1 NZD) do not count as a common piece. If more than 5% of the total number of pieces in a LEGO® set are lost or damaged, you will be charged the replacement cost of the set. In this situation, the ownership of the incomplete set would be transferred to you and sent to you once you pay the replacement cost of the set and any required packaging and delivery costs. If the missing pieces are irreplaceable, Brick PlayStudio reserves the right to charge you for the replacement cost of the set and will transfer the ownership of that set to you. In all cases where Brick PlayStudio has to replace a set or piece as a result of you losing it or damaging it, you will be responsible for all associated packing and delivery fees. Additionally, Brick PlayStudio reserves the right to utilise the services of debt collection agencies in the event of any outstanding payments owed.


In the unfortunate event of theft, you must provide Brick PlayStudio with a copy of a police report and home insurance claim (if applicable).

Refund Policy

You can cancel your order and receive a full refund if the order for the LEGO® set is still processing and has not yet been sent for delivery. If the LEGO® set has already been sent out for delivery, you are not eligible for a refund. LEGO sets returned earlier than the 10-day period will not receive a refund.

Disclaimer of Warranties / Limitation of Liability

Although we have made every effort to supply accurate information on this site, errors and omissions may occur. Brick PlayStudio does not accept any liability, direct or indirect, for any loss or damage which may directly or indirectly result from any advice, opinion, information, representation or omission whether negligent or otherwise, contained on this site. You are solely responsible for the actions you take in reliance on the content on, or accessed, through this site. All implied warranties or guarantees are expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.


You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Brick PlayStudio, its officers, directors, agents, licensors, contractors, subcontractors, service providers,  suppliers, interns and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.

Changes to Terms of Service

You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time at this page. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
